Individual Therapy
At Kimberly Ward Counseling, my individual therapy services are designed to support you wherever you are in life’s journey. Whether you are feeling stuck, in a challenging transitional time, seeking emotional healing, or sensing that something feels “off” without knowing exactly why, I am here to help. Together, we will explore your unique challenges, uncover solutions, build new skill sets, and work towards a greater sense of clarity and peace.
My counseling approach is holistic, addressing mind, body, and spirit to support healing. I believe faith can be a
powerful resource for those who choose to incorporate it. If desired, I can integrate Christian principles into counseling that align with your values and goals, fostering hope and wholeness. I also work with individuals who have been hurt by religious experiences, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space to process your spirituality at your own pace, meeting you where you are.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES - I can provide walk therapy at a local greenway as an option to sitting in the office and sessions are offered online (teletherapy). I am a provider who will help you grow with support and guidance throughout your care journey so you can find calm again.

Group Therapy
(one individual session is required before being added to a group)
Group therapy brings people together in a supportive, shared space to foster growth, navigate challenges, and build connections. A group can be ideal for many individuals and can complement individual therapy or even surpass individual therapy in certain situations. It can allow skill building in a safe space, bring a shared understanding, validating you are not alone, enhance self-awareness, and is a cost-effective support.
Groups are created through inquiries, client feedback, and demand and will be periodically listed with dates and times. Groups are posted regularly, so you can find one that aligns with your schedule and goals. Stay connected to find the right group for you! What is GROUP THERAPY like?
Our social anxiety group sessions are designed to feel like a
warm, welcoming circle of support where everyone’s voice matters.
Picture a cozy, judgement free space where you can connect with
others who get what it’s like to navigate social anxiety. We start with
a quick check in-allowing you to share based on your comfort
level-no pressure, a chance to ease into things.
From there, we might dive into a specific topic, like handling
anxious thoughts in social situations or practicing ways to feel more
at ease in conversations. You’ll learn practical techniques, like
breathing exercises, or reframing negative thoughts that will help you in your everyday life. At times, we may do gentle exposures to
activities and social scenarios-to build confidence in a safe way.
***A typical group involves anywhere from 5 to 8 members.
*Group sessions will be formed based on sufficient interest to insure
a meaningful experience.
*Prior to joining, potential members are required to attend an
individual screening session to assess suitability for a group setting,
ensuring a positive and effective group dynamic.
