I do not provide therapy for children. However, I offer dedicated support for parents, helping you navigate challenges with your children through active listening, a nonjudgmental approach, and psychoeducation. As a mother of 5, I understand the importance of fostering strong connections with your children and together we will explore helpful parenting strategies.
To insure personalized, flexible care, I do not accept insurance directly; however, I can provide a detailed bill of receipt (superbill), which you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement as an out-of-network provider. Reimbursement rates vary depending on your insurance plan, so I recommend contacting your provider to confirm coverage for out-of-network mental health services.

By not billing insurance directly, your personal information, diagnoses, and sessions remain completely private between me and you. Insurance companies require detailed treatment plans and diagnostic codes, which you may feel are intrusive.
Without insurance restrictions, I can customize sessions uniquely to you without limitations on session frequency and length. Investing in therapy outside of insurance is significant. However, I believe it is a benefit to your well-being that can enhance your life greatly.
Our first session will be 90 minutes and my hope is you will feel welcomed and at ease as we begin to get to know each other. In the first session we will talk about what brings you to therapy and possible goals you want to achieve. I will also ask questions to gather more knowledge about who you are and what your story has looked like up to this point.
You can also ask me questions and get a feel if I am a good “fit” for you. You do not need to do anything to prepare in advance-just come as you are and we will decide our next steps together.
The next step is to schedule a 10–15-minute phone call. We can briefly talk and you can decide if you believe I am a good fit for you and then we take it from there and set up your first appointment. This phone call is no charge, just a quick opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
